For Spring/Summer 2022, SHISEIDO is collaborating with Japanese artist and textile designer Yuri Himuro, who reimagines the packaging for WHITE LUCENT Illuminating Micro-Spot Serum, creating a landscape of cherry
blossoms that signals a fresh start for spring.
Blooming sakura, beautiful and ephemeral, have long signaled the start of spring and a time of new beginnings. The blossoms depicted in full bloom are a beautiful reminder that time is always moving forward, and
us with it.
The design does not depict a specific place in Japan, but rather is an invitation for the viewer to find their own place in the landscape, a room for their memories, or a place to make new ones.
